Harmony Singing Group
The following information has been received from West Galloway U3A which meets in the Stranraer district:
We have been awarded a Big Lottery Grant to develop an unaccompanied Harmony Singing Group over the next year. We would like to invite your members to join us. Our first meeting is on 20 January at 2.30pm in the L'aperitif Restaurant(0pposite Morrisons) There will be a charge of around £2.50 for refreshments. The Group is also open to non-members.

New Groups

These are in the process of being set up. This is the progress so far:

Travel Group is in the process of setting up - a volunteer to facilitate this group is sought.
German Group This is still under consideration but as there are very differing needs between very few members, a solution has yet to be found.
Theatre Group has been contacted by Ann Sackree (Tel: 01671 403812) re an outing to the ballet at Belfast, but a meeting for further plans is to be held in the near future.
